The Ultra has a fast transfer speed of up to 15MBps (megabytes per second) which makes it ideal for storing photos, videos, songs and large files, according to the company.
The SanDisk Cruzer Edge uses a slider design which makes it more compact than most standard Flash drives.

Both Flash drives are compatible with SanDisk's Secure Access software which can encrypt and also back up data online.
The software protects files against unauthorised access by creating a "vault" or secure partition that lets users decide which files remain private, while keeping the rest of the drive free for normal usage.
Also, the software can back up data to an online secure storage service hosted by Dmailer.
Users can store up to 2GB of data. Currently, Secure Access does not come preloaded with the Flash drives and users can download it from internet.
SanDisk plans to have the Secure Access software preloaded with all SanDisk Flash drives by March.
The Ultra comes in several sizes ranging from 8GB to 32GB while the Cruzer Edge is available in 2GB to 16GB capacities.
